Wallimage launches a call for projects to foster tomorrow's digital formats

An idea that breaks the mould, an innovative concept, a format designed to captivate audiences of today and tomorrow: with this new call for projects, Wallimage wishes to support those who imagine, develop and produce tomorrow's digital formats.

The objective? To support projects that are:

creative and daring;

adapted to digital usage;

designed for content hosting and sharing environments;

carrying genuine engagement potential.

Which projects can be submitted?

The call is open to any genre of audiovisual format meeting the conditions of the regulations. Specifically, the format must be based on the original formatting of an idea or concept, with a reproducible and exportable mechanism and distinctive elements.

The project may be submitted by a Belgian company and/or a natural person domiciled in Belgium. In the event of Wallimage's approval, if the applicant is not an independent Belgian producer, the involvement of an independent Belgian producer will be required for the signature of the investment agreement.

Wallimage will allocate a total budget of €216,000 to this call. The support will take the form of a conditionally repayable advance, which cannot represent more than 50% of the overall production cost of the format.

Projects must furthermore generate a minimum of 150% of the advance amount in Walloon eligible expenditure.

Call schedule

30 October 2026 before 5 pm: submission of projects

23 and 24 November 2026: producer meetings

10 December 2026: Decentralised Co-productions Board
