Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
01Introduction
PULPSCREEN (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates pulpscreen.com, the home of our studio and of the Co-Pro Guide, a free reference for film production incentives and co-production funding. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website.
02Information We Collect
- Guide access accounts: your name and email address when you sign up for free access to Co-Pro Guide detail pages, plus company and role if you choose to share them.
- Marketing preference: whether you opted in to deadline alerts and programme updates. Opting in is never required for access.
- Access requests: your email address when you request access to investor materials or submit a project inquiry.
- Usage and analytics data: pages visited, browser type, device type, referring URLs, and general interaction patterns, collected via Google Analytics and PostHog once you accept analytics cookies. Nothing is collected before you accept.
- Session recordings: if you accept analytics cookies, PostHog records a playback of your visit — the pages, clicks, and scrolling — so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. Everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser, so passwords and email addresses never appear in a recording.
- Investor materials: when we send you a private link to a deck, we record which slides are viewed, for how long, and a playback of the session, so we know which questions the material left unanswered. This is standard practice for shared investor documents.
03How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve pulpscreen.com and the Co-Pro Guide
- To send you login links that confirm your email and open your access
- To send deadline alerts and programme updates, only if you opted in
- To respond to inquiries and access requests
04Third-Party Services
We use Vercel for hosting and storage, Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the site is used, and Resend to deliver email and hold our mailing lists. PostHog processes our analytics on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
05Cookies
pulpscreen.com uses essential cookies, including the cookie that keeps your free Co-Pro Guide access signed in after you confirm your email. Those are always on, because the site cannot work without them.
Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used, are only set if you accept them when we ask. If you decline, none are set. To change your answer later, clear this site's data in your browser and the question will appear again on your next visit. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data to advertisers.
06Data Retention
Account details and inquiries are retained for the duration of our relationship with you. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
07Your Rights (GDPR)
As we operate from France, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data
- Restrict processing of your data
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@pulpscreen.com.
08International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States through our hosting and email providers. Appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
09Children's Privacy
pulpscreen.com is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
