Second application phase for the Medium-Budget Production Incentive

In 2026, the second application phase for the Medium-Budget Cinematographic and Audiovisual Production Incentive begins on 28 September at 10:00, closing on 12 October at 18:00 (Mainland Portugal time).

Applications must be submitted via this platform of the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA - Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual), and companies must be registered in the Register of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Entities.

This incentive is intended for projects with eligible production expenditure below 2.5 million euros. The minimum eligible expenditure incurred in Portugal is 500,000.00 euros per work or 200,000.00 euros per documentary or when production or post-production in Portugal does not include filming.
